A successful candidate in this position willserve as a General Engineer/Physical Scientist located in the Office of Defense Programs, Office of the Assistant Deputy Administrator for Major Modernization Programs, whose primary responsibility is to partner with the Department of Defense (DOD) to ensure a safe, secure, and reliable stockpile for the Nation''s nuclear deterrent. To carry out the mission, the incumbent oversees the development and implementation of major policies, processes and procedures to assure effective integration of modernization activities and programs across the nuclear weapons complex and with other programs and staff offices in NNSA.
