Candidate Profile
Responsibilities include:
Provide embedded support of Security & Emergency Management training, video and graphics development, and communications. Assist in the development of online training courses, briefings, and job aids working side-by-side with training specialists to generate effective online training.
Convert html content with embedded interactive exercises, video, and graphics, using media tools like FLASH, Adobe, and Photo Shop software. Build and maintain websites supporting operations as well as customer communications using modern development technologies, software and standards.
Post and archive controlled documents. Provide SharePoint site set-up and administration. Participate as team member on software and process development teams providing communications support and online job aids. The selected individual will have to be willing to occasionally work overtime to meet project schedules.
Designs, configures, or maintains internal and external websites, web application user interfaces, and web site components that support image and identity using a diverse mix of web material, graphical user interfaces, multiscreen venues, two- and three-dimensional modeling, animation, video, and various multimedia.
Works with designers, programmers, writers and other creative specialists to create visually rich and effective web content that delivers a positive user experience and aligns with Sandia's overall objectives and web standards.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
